Create your Seleckt account in minutes

Signing Up

Getting started with Seleckt takes just a few minutes. You can register with your email and a password, or sign up instantly with Google. This guide walks you through both options.

Option 1: Register with Email

  1. Go to seleckt.app/register.
  2. Fill in the registration form with the following details:
    • Name — Your full name (at least 2 characters).
    • Email — The email address you want to use for your account.
    • Business Name — The name of your photography business. This is optional during registration but you can add it later in your profile settings.
    • Password — Choose a strong password. It must meet all of these requirements:
      • At least 8 characters long
      • Contains at least one uppercase letter (A-Z)
      • Contains at least one lowercase letter (a-z)
      • Contains at least one number (0-9)
    • Confirm Password — Re-enter your password to make sure it matches.
  3. Check the PDPA consent checkbox. This confirms that you agree to Seleckt's data processing policy, which explains how your data is stored and used. You can read the full policy by clicking the link next to the checkbox.
  4. Invite code (optional) — If you received an invite code from another photographer or from Seleckt, enter it here. This is not required to create an account.
  5. Click Create Account.

Tip: Pick a password you do not use on other sites. A mix of words and numbers — like SunsetShoot2024 — is easy to remember and meets all the requirements.

Option 2: Sign Up with Google

If you prefer not to create a separate password, you can register using your Google account:

  1. Go to seleckt.app/register.
  2. Click the Sign up with Google button.
  3. Choose the Google account you want to use and authorize Seleckt.
  4. After authorization, you will be asked to:
    • Optionally enter your Business Name.
    • Check the PDPA consent checkbox (required).
  5. Click Complete Registration.

Your name and email are pulled from your Google account automatically. You can change your display name later in your profile settings.

Tip: Google sign-up is the fastest way to get started. You can always add a password later from your account settings if you want the option of logging in either way.

Verifying Your Email

After you register (with either method), Seleckt sends a verification email to the address you signed up with.

  1. Open your email inbox and look for a message from Seleckt with the subject line "Verify your email address".
  2. Click the Verify Email button in the message.
  3. You will be taken back to Seleckt with a confirmation that your email is verified.

Until you verify your email, some features may be limited. Verification helps us keep your account secure and ensures you receive important notifications like invoice payments and client activity.

What Happens After Registration

Once your email is verified, you are taken to your Seleckt dashboard. From here you can:

  • Complete your profile — Add your business name, phone number, and profile photo.
  • Set up branding — Choose your brand color and upload your logo.
  • Configure your watermark — Set up a text or logo watermark that is applied to gallery photos automatically.
  • Connect Stripe — Link your Stripe account so you can accept payments from clients.

Troubleshooting

I did not receive the verification email

  • Double-check that you entered the correct email during registration.
  • Look in your spam, junk, or promotions folder.
  • Click Resend verification email on the login page.
  • If you still do not receive it, contact support at support@seleckt.app.

My password is not accepted

Make sure your password meets all four requirements:

  • At least 8 characters
  • At least one uppercase letter
  • At least one lowercase letter
  • At least one number

The registration form shows a real-time check next to each requirement so you can see which ones are met.

I already have an account

If you try to register with an email that is already in use, Seleckt will let you know. Head to the login page instead. If you have forgotten your password, click Forgot password to reset it.
