Seleckt is a photographer-client collaboration platform built to simplify the way you work. Whether you are a photographer delivering galleries, sending invoices, and managing contracts, or a client reviewing photos and making selections, Seleckt keeps everything in one place.

This help center walks you through every feature so you can spend less time on admin and more time doing what you love.

What Can You Do with Seleckt?

Seleckt covers the full photographer-client workflow, from first contact to final delivery. Here is a quick overview of the main feature areas:

Galleries

Upload your photos, optionally watermark them, and share beautiful online galleries with your clients. Seleckt supports JPEG, PNG, and WebP, plus RAW formats (a Plus-plan feature), processes thumbnails for you, and offers three gallery templates — Editorial, Classic, and Minimal — to match your brand style. Clients can view, comment, and make their selections directly in the gallery.

Jobs

One record for each piece of work. A Job keeps the quote, the bookings, the invoices, the contract and every payment for a shoot together, adds up what has been paid across all of them, and walks you from an accepted quote to a completed job one click at a time.

Invoices

Create and send professional invoices with line items, taxes, and payment tracking. Clients receive a link and can pay online through the integrated Stripe payment system. You get notified when an invoice is viewed and paid.

Quotes

Send detailed quotes to clients before a shoot. Include line items, terms, and expiry dates. When the client approves, you can convert the quote into an invoice with a single click, or bill its items on separate invoices.

Contracts

Build contracts using the built-in rich-text editor or start from a saved template. Send contracts for e-signature, and both you and your client get a signed PDF copy when it is done.

Collections

Group a gallery's own photos into curated, client-facing sub-sets — such as Ceremony, Reception, or Portraits. Create a collection with a title, then add or remove existing gallery photos; photos are grouped, never moved or copied, so deleting a collection leaves the photos untouched. Clients see collections as section navigation within the gallery, and empty collections stay hidden. Available on Pro plans and above.

Products

Build a product catalogue of your services, packages, and add-ons. Pull them into quotes and invoices with a single click for consistent pricing across every client interaction.

Clients

Keep a directory of all your clients with contact details, notes, and tags. Import clients in bulk from a CSV or Excel file. Every interaction — galleries shared, invoices sent, contracts signed — is logged in one place.

Client Portal

Your clients get their own portal with six sections — Bookings, Galleries, Invoices, Quotes, Contracts, and Downloads — where they can view their bookings, browse shared galleries and make photo selections, pay invoices, approve quotes, sign contracts, and download deliverables. No app download needed — it all works in the browser.

Dashboard & Activity Log

Your dashboard gives you a real-time overview of your business — active galleries, outstanding invoices, revenue trends, and a live activity feed. The activity log tracks every action across your account for a complete audit trail.

Command Palette

Press Cmd+K (or Ctrl+K) to open the command palette — a quick search bar that lets you jump to any page, client, gallery, or action instantly.

In-App Notifications

Real-time notifications delivered directly in the app via the notification bell. Configure which events trigger email and in-app alerts in your notification settings.

For Photographers

If you are a photographer setting up Seleckt for the first time, start here:

1. Signing Up — Create your account and verify your email.
2. Setting Up Your Account — Configure your profile, branding, watermark, and payment settings.
3. Creating Your First Gallery — Upload photos, pick a template, and publish your first gallery.
4. Inviting Your First Client — Add a client, send an invite, and start collaborating.

For Clients

If you have been invited to Seleckt by your photographer, welcome! Here is what you need to know:

• Accepting your invite — You will receive an email with a link to create your portal account. Follow the steps to set your password and you are in.
• Viewing galleries — Your photographer will share gallery links with you. Open them to browse photos, leave comments, and select your favorites.
• Paying invoices — When your photographer sends an invoice, you will get an email with a link to view and pay it securely online.
• Signing contracts — Contracts arrive by email too. Review the terms, draw your signature, and you are done.

Everything is accessible from your Client Portal dashboard, where you can see all your galleries, invoices, and contracts in one place.
